A little bit about Kee Design

The Kee Design office is located near the village of Stratford-on-Slaney. We are extremely fortunate to be surrounded and inspired every day by the gorgeous rolling hills of the west Wicklow countryside.
Kee Design is an independent architectural services business and was founded way back in 2002 by myself, Ger O'Keeffe. I set up the business after I completed my 3rd level education studying Architectural Technology in Waterford Institute of Technology.

As a young boy growing up in the countryside, every year I was always to be found dreaming and scheming up an ever more elaborate tree house. After sourcing and scavenging whatever materials I could find I would go about building them in the trees near home (looking back, its a minor miracle some of the earlier constructions stayed up!).
In later years I was selected to go to Mosney and represent county Wicklow at the Community Games for Art and then again for clay modelling (I recall I made a rather dodgy looking basketball player). In secondary school I was actually a student who loved the subject Technical Drawing. So I guess it was a rather logical progression for me to go on and study architecture and set up Kee Design, well it was either that or become a formula 1 racing driver!

At Kee Design we believe that to achieve a good design you do not need to spend a fortune on expensive materials and products. On the contrary, we believe that with enough effort, thought and careful assembly and detailing of materials a successful & beautiful design can be achieved on a relatively tight budget.

At Kee Design, no matter what your budget, we will work hard to ensure that you can achieve the building or space you always dreamed of.
